Open Gate Equine Academy partners with schools, youth-serving organizations, mentoring programs, faith-based organizations, athletic programs, and community leaders to identify young people who have demonstrated exceptional character, leadership potential, work ethic, and a desire to grow. Rather than searching for applicants, we rely on trusted partners who already know these emerging leaders and can recognize qualities that may not always appear on a résumé or transcript. By working alongside organizations that are already investing in youth development, we uncover untapped talent, provide industry-leading education and mentorship, and connect these promising individuals with meaningful career opportunities in the equine industry.
Through our partnership with Sowing Seeds With Faith, a Louisville-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people and strengthening communities, we identify students who demonstrate curiosity, commitment, and a desire to build a successful future.
Sowing Seeds With Faith serves as the gateway, introducing students to opportunities they may never have imagined while providing the encouragement and support needed to take the next step.
